In.Bio (IT)
In.Bio – Consortium for Innovation and Bioeconomy is a private nonprofit research organization founded in 2006; its members are:
- the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development – ENEA (49.50 %);
- Knowledge, Research, Development S.r.l. – C.R.S. (28.44 %);
- Italian Biomass Association – ITABIA (11.76 %);
- Institute for University Cooperation – ICU (10.30 %).
In.Bio’s primary purpose is the promotion and development of RTD&D initiatives in the areas of enabling technologies and their application areas, bioenergy and green chemistry, circular bioeconomy and international cooperation.
