Microbiotec’25
Place: Ponta Delgada, Azore
The Microbiotec’25 – International Congress on Microbiology & Biotechnology will take place from 4–6 December 2025 at the University of the Azores in Ponta Delgada. Organized by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology (SPM) and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology (SPBT), the biennial event aims to foster collaboration between academia and industry, promoting scientific exchange across all areas of microbiology and biotechnology.
Key topics will include emerging technologies in microbiology and biotechnology, industrial and environmental applications, bioengineering, molecular biology, and innovation for sustainability.
The congress will feature plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, and networking opportunities designed to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
