AlgaEurope 2026 – Global Conference on Algae Science, Technology & Business

Place: Valletta, Malta

AlgaEurope 2026 will take place 8–11 December 2026 in Malta, bringing together over 400 key participants from more than 45 countries. The event is jointly organised by the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) and DLG Markets Benelux, continuing their long‑standing collaboration to advance the algae‑based bioeconomy.

The conference offers a comprehensive programme of keynote lectures, plenary sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and a large international trade show. Topics will span microalgae, macroalgae, seaweed applications, biotechnology, sustainable production, and commercialisation pathways across the algae value chain.

Participants will have opportunities to network with technology developers, algae producers, investors, food and feed companies, wastewater specialists, and researchers. The event also includes social activities and optional technical site visits, fostering collaboration and innovation in the rapidly growing algae sector.
